DIYCOW is the web’s friendliest weekly clue-writing contest, and arguably the most popular thanks to its informality and open-to-all approach.
Unlike other contests, DIYCOW allows multiple entries. The winner-stays-on principle means that each weekly contest is judged as much according to the challenge setter’s preferences as aspects of technique, so a glance through the winners’ archive reveals a huge variety of styles from strictly Ximenean to outrageously Libertarian to downright quirky.
